The Closing of a Chapter

Amidst the happiness that the mission was a success, most of the scientists and the others in the business community are in great disappointment that the project and its opportunities have come to an end.

The principal of Pund-IT, Charles King, told the TechNewsWorld that NASA had been the pinnacle of America’s scientific research and efforts for many years. He also agreed to the fact that this may be just a perception he had with his generation’s experience. According to him, in his generation, NASA and its work were considered a wonder. He realises now that the world has moved on to other more important tasks and most of the people either has no time for such scientific studies or are not aware of what is going on in the scientific world. He considers the elimination of this project a big mistake, owing to the fact that very little people in America are aware of the scientific studies done today. He says that more scientific programs should come up, which will improve the scientific understanding of adults and children and get them more interested in learning more about such details.

Dr Seth D Ginsberg, the president of the Global Healthy Living Foundation, also commented on this act of NASA. He said that there are numerous facts about universe that humans don’t understand and that the stopping of this program can even affect the medical field and the advance in the technology used. He says that as many experiments carried out in the space have been helpful for medical studies and other inventions in medical field, the closing of the project is definitely a loss to the medical field also.
