BlackBerry comes with PlayBook tablet

The beginning of the next year is going to be marked with the release of BlackBerry, which is often called the rival of Apple iPad. But the Blackberry PlayBook will be lighter and smaller. The device has a mutitouch seven-inch screen and an operating system received from the purchase of QNX. 

The chief executive of the QNX said the company gives the opportunity not known before. The model Playbook was called the first professional tablet and unbelievable gaming platform. It will run Adobe Flash and this is the advantage over iPad that can’t do the same. Besides, the gadget will provide high quality picture with the help of micro-HDMI. The device features micro USB ports. The weight of the PlayBook is 400 g. and it has 2 cameras of high dimension for video conference.  The date of release has not been announced so far, but there is the information about the device being available in the beginning of the year.

Then it will start its spread around the world and will be available internationally in the second quarter of the next year. WiFi connectivity is going to be an additional feature or it can be connected to the Internet through BlackBerry smartphone. But it will be able to work without it as well. They say that the gadget will cost just like iPad and prices will vary from $499.

As the developers assert the gadget will be able to perform multitask assignments and actually will offer an enhanced BlackBerry smartphone features. 16 GB and 32 GB models will appear on the market.

The device presents innovative operating system with open standards. Soon the developers’ kit will be available.
