Samsung Galaxy Note is definitely asamsung_logomong those devices you are already familiar with, whether because of the multitude of TV spots or the hundreds of reviews and news over the Internet.

This terminal is something between a tablet and a phone and has a 5.3 inch screen. A few weeks ago, the Samsung leaders have announced reaching 1 million units sold worldwide. And this is without counting the United States of America, the country that is supposed to commercialize the Galaxy Note model anytime soon. With a similar design to Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note pleasantly surprises the users through a wide variety of aspects, such as the 800 x 1200 pixel resolution of the Super AMOLED screen, not to mention about the 8 megapixels camera with a 1080 p capture support. The terminal comes with a stylus too, only to give you access to quick notes. You may also take screenshots. Now, what else do you want from it? It was pretty obvious that such an inedited and complex device would have impressive sales while providing a unique experience compared to its rivals.

Believe it or not, HTC, LG, Motorola and even Apple don't have a product to embrace this idea so well. Therefore, this is the one and only combination of tablets and phones. However, at some point, Dell Streak has had an attempt to build such a device, but it was never finished. At the same time, most rumors and critics claim that Lenovo might work on a similar gadget. However, the similarities with Galaxy Note will most likely present this new project as a clone. With over 1 million units sold and the United States of America waiting in line, what might stop Galaxy Note to add a few million units to the previous work started by Galaxy S II and Galaxy S?

With all these amazing results, a lot of people still wonder what Samsung Galaxy Note actually is. Is it a smartphone? Is it a tablet? Some people say it is a tablet, although the GSM functionality contradicts them. The same goes for the sellers. If you take a trip around most stores, you will see Galaxy Note in the phones area, close to other major representatives of this segment. However, holding such a device close to your ear is not too elegant. Judging by the fact that it is the size of your head, it is not comfortable either. For the small tablets fans, Galaxy Note comes as an irresistible temptation. Unlike iPad or Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Note can easily be carried in your pocket.

The 5.3 inch screen with a resolution that can compete with a standard desktop monitor makes Galaxy Note excellent for Internet. Without denying the qualities of the larger tablets, it is said they are mostly used to view full movies and websites. Other than that, a compact device like Samsung's creation is more useful for games and applications. The software package comes with a few organizer based applications, such as S Memo, S Choice or S Planner. They were specifically created for this type of display and designed to use the stylus. This amazing accessory brings back old memories regarding the first touchscreen devices and becomes indispensable if you plan to draw or write on the screen. The stylus is located in the bottom part of the device, close to the microUSB port. On the other side of the gadget you can find the 3.5 mm jack for headphones. The sides conform to the minimalist design, providing standard buttons for volume and power.

Taken overall, Galaxy Note is nothing by a Galaxy S II through a magnifying glass. Even the hardware is almost identical, except for the screen. At the same time, the processor and the RAM memory are just as similar. The graphical chipset – Mali 400 MP – is currently the most advanced solution on the market. The camera is defined by a sensory that can take 8 MP captures and full HD videos. It comes with all the options picky users might think about, including automated focusing, choosing the focus area with your finger on the screen, image balancers, face or smile detectors or LED. Other than that, the large screen and the impressive processor are supported by a decent battery of 2500 mAh. Therefore, the autonomy is pretty impressive for such a gadget.

With such amazing characteristics, it is no surprise how Samsung managed to sell over 1 million units. Plus, there are many more to come. To make a long story short, there are not too many things to ask for when you get Galaxy Note in your hands.
