The Social Network, film of David Fincher's was a great success at the Golden Globes.  It received 4 four awards, for Best Drama and Best Screenplay in that number.

The film that had 7 nominations won in the 4 of them. This is a great result. Taking this into consideration, the film becomes one of the main contenders for the Academy Awards, which is going to announce about nominations on the 25th of January.

The film was well accepted by the most demanding critics though there is much talk about unreal facts that were added to the story. “Social Network” tells about the way Facebook started and its founder Mark Zuckerberg. The competition was rather serious. There were such films as “Inception”, “The King’s Speech” and “Black Swan” among other contenders.

Many people called the film the masterpiece. It beat the other contenders on Best Director nomination but failed in Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor though the play of Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg was superb. But the competition was very hard. Besides, Jesse Eisenberg had received already a range of film critic awards for his play. He was great in portraying Zuckerberg.

Rocker Trent Reznor didn’t expect to win the nomination for Best Original Score. He tweeted from the ceremony “Holy shit!” There were films “Inception” and “127 hours” among the contenders.
