Nexus S phone is the next word of GooNexus S is the next phone launched by Google in US and UK gle company on the market of mobile phones. It passed about twelve months since the device HTC-built, Nexus One, was launched (by the way it was not so popular among consumers) and new phone made by Samsung appears.

This phone is the first phone which features the latest variant of Android operating system, presented by Google. This system is widely recognized like Gingerbread.

As well the new device has the new hardware NFC - Near Field Communications.

This wireless technology with the short-range is used mainly such places as Japan. It lets people have their phone instead of travel ticket, to make some payments with the help of phone, to get some necessary information about stuff.

Near Field Communications is considered to be a developing mobile trend and it promises to be much more well-known in the New Year.

There is an opinion that the iPhone next version will contain such technology.

The first presentation of Nexus S was held by Eric Schmidt, Google boss, this November in San Francisco at the summit Web 2.0.

Google has developed the touchscreen device together with Samsung. This system is now the part of Samsung tablets and Galaxy S series phones.

The claims about search giant’s preference of Samsung were dismissed. As well Google denied conjectures that it wants to compete with the others biggest phone manufacturers which use Android system in their technologies.

Nexus S “intends” to be “the first in the world” having rear-facing and front cameras as well as the curved display.

It is as well the handset which was the first to present the newest Android version which is called Gingerbread.

There is completely new interface, the new hardware support, for example, gyroscope which is used for business games.

It allows everyone to install the VOIP account which may be used to receive and place calls through the internet.

The handset can support such feature when it is in wi-fi hotspot range. It allows consumers to by pass the mobile network operators.

The voice control is also great in this phone.

Google's CEO showed the phone in November for the first time.

Nexus S has the software which allows users to control the phone navigation with the help of their voice.

There is a renovated commands set in the phone. It allows sending text messages and e-mails, and even setting alarm while doing the other things.

In the United Kingdom, the handset Nexus S will be free together with contracts for £35 per month or it will be sold unlocked for £549.
