Hewlett Packard first tablet release

In accHewlett Packard first tablet releaseordance with rumors HP TouchPad will appear in June. The price of the 16GB modification with 9.7 screen will be $499.

Now the 7” TouchPad is also rumored to be developed. Its release is planned for the beginning of fall. The first tablet from Hewlett Packard will be released in June. While 9.7’’ 16GB model is assessed $499, the customers will have to pay $599 for the version of 32 GB.  IPad has many rivals but HP seems to be determined enough in its aspirations and expectations. Many characteristic features of the gadget are close to the ones of the Apple's iPad. Both versions are provided with the same size of screen and the same resolution – 1024 Х 768. Until now all devices which were annouced by the company were provided with Wi-Fi connection in comparison with Apple's products supplied with 3G feature.

 

As for the rest specs, the device spots 1GB of memory in addition to dual core processor 1.2GHz Snapdragon. The device works on the WebOS platform.
Looking at the measurements of the gadget, we should confirm that it is heavier, but the difference is not that big. The device is 1.5 pounds with thickness 13.7mm.
These rumors have not been verified yet but they seem to have a reliable source of information – the person, who works for the retailer of the company is aware of the company’s plans.
